"Look Kamloops indesputably remains the premiere publication for live music in this town......... Keep up the great work!" ~ Solomon Wells, local musician "I did my own little poll among musicians in town to see where I should advertise, and they all said that LOOK is what they're reading." ~ Brent Arnason, owner of Sounds Good DJ & PA Services “Good goin’ on my ad and the photo; the event was sold out (again, heh heh), and Look Magazine was an important element in my promo strategy (yes, you can quote that).” ~ Vaughn Warren, event promoter “Hey, thought I'd let you know... ADS IN LOOK WORK!!! People are obviously reading ALL OF IT, including the ads! ;) So, thanks!” ~ Kimberely Eibl, 11 Studio West Fine Arts Society Don’t miss an opportunity for your business to be a part of the ‘local free-time forecast’!

LOOK KAMLOOPS is a local publication that is determined to be the city’s most comprehensive arts, entertainment, culture and sports listings. With a minimum of 1000 copies distributed throughout the city every Wednesday, LOOK KAMLOOPS will help residents and tourists plan their free time by dishing up the whole smorgasbord of events held throughout our city year-round, all in one place. Made for all who ask “What’s going on around here?,” the format is simple: a black-and-white, double-sided, one-page broadsheet, listing events and their related info by category, culminating in the perfect take-home, hang-it-on-your-fridge, local free-time planner. As Kamloops continues to grow and diversify, so will its culture and events – there is more and more going on all the time. LOOK KAMLOOPS wants to grow with it, and is expanding its content online. At LOOK KAMLOOPS we believe advertising with us will help your business grow too. Below is an advertising rate sheet/agreement form. It reflects prices for advertising in print, and until online advertising rates are set, online advertising will be a free addition to the packages you see there. You will also find our publication dates and distribution points below the rate sheet. If you have any questions about our rates or our paper, please don’t hesitate to call and ask. Sincerely,
| Rebecca McLean | Matt McLean | Editor

And a little word about Online Advertising... Hello (again) Business Owner or Manager! If you don't already know by now, Look Kamloops, this weekly local free event listing, has become a firm part of the Kamloops free-time scene. With all of the current information and details on the live music, theatre, film, art, dance, culture, sports and family events, listed freshly each week, we are reaching thousands of readers through our print paper alone. But in the last few months since we launched our new website, we are getting thousands of readers online, too.
In our first year of serious online publishing, www.LookKamloops.com is offering online advertising at a serious steal: ANNUAL advertising rates of $69 and $99*! Have your linked ad permanently placed on the page it belongs - music, sports, family, etc - for an entire year for one low price! Or, if you are a restaurant, for the same low cost of $99/year, place an ad in our online Dining Guide. Take our readers to your menu in just one click! Please don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. We can't wait to talk to you about our publication and all of the readers who have come to count on us to bring them all of the great events in our community - or what we like to call their local free-time forecast.
Warm regards, Rebecca McLean, Editor

*These low rates refer to every page except the home page - it is the only space that is priced slightly higher at $139/ and $199/year, respectively. Those wishing to advertise on more than one page are invited discuss an appropriate and generous discount with us. Additionally, our existing policy of offering a 30% discount to independent artists and non-profit agencies applies here, too. See, not such a bad disclaimer after all, no? |
